We focus on the delivery of high-quality medical services and on reliable, friendly, patient-centred care.

SolidarMed | Partnership for health.

SolidarMed places health care at the centre of all its activities. As an accredited programme organisation of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), SolidarMed is committed to the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals. SolidarMed is a non-profit association under Swiss law and is non-denominational. SolidarMed is financially supported by its members, private and institutional donors, foundations and the public sector.

      In Zambia there is only one qualified doctor for every 10,000 people. And 90% of this small pool of doctors work in large towns and cities. One reason for this is a lack of housing and unappealing working and training conditions in rural areas.
